Ami Anne--Thanks for your replies! I expect honestly, so feel free to tell me like it is. =) I'm a female, and I'm what you would call a "good girl," I suppose. I'm actually a bit grandma-like, and get told that a lot.
It's hard to answer some questions about my personality, because I feel like it's quite conflicting at times. But I'll try my best!
I'd say that I do have a lot of personal drive, but I'm not much of a "get up and go" type of person. I can be quite lazy at times..I like my comfort. But when a job needs to get done, I get it done. I'm just a bit of a slow starter.
You're right bout my anger style. =) I'm not the best at expressing my anger because I really hate confrontation, so it tends to build and build until I just can't stand the person. I usually get up the nerve to say something before things get too heated, though. I tend to hold strong grudges for a while, but then I'll just get over it and be fine again, quite unexpectedly.
My parents were always extremely supportive and I'm very, very close with my family. However, I went through a very shy period in school as a child, that started with a bully. But since then (5th grade), I've never had a problem making friends, and I'm pretty upfront about my quirky personality.
I've never been a player before , but I think that that's because I have little luck in romance. I tend to go for (and waste a lot of time on) men who are charming but who end up being selfish and emotionally cold, and I'm really picky. I'd like to date around before I settle down (I'm only 20 at present, mind you =D), and I do value my independence. I like alone time. But the idea of a serious relationship has always charmed (and at times, obsessed) me. It's just that after my slew of tragic and unsuccessful romances, I've decided to just let things work out. (Which isn't always easy since I'm extraordinarily optimistic and can't seem to give up hope on the men I'm attracted to.
I am a worrier and I tend to try to forget about them, so you've got me again. =) I'm also a constant talker. Whenever I'm upset or excited, EVERYONE hears about it. =)
I find unusual things fun. I'm not a partier/socialite like a lot of people my age. I love to read, write, knit, cook. I'm really into all kinds of art, and I adore literature. I'm an English lit. major with double minors in Art History and Women's Studies.
Your comments have been right-on! I'm excited!
